FOCUS is about making your choice based on the real story....
Is it real?   Is it rational?

Does it make sense?    Does it stand up under pressure?

Get the story straight from God’s word in the bible and choose for yourself. We discuss and debate these things to work out what it means and how it makes sense of our world.

What do we do?

FOCUS on Wednesday is a mixture of input, big group and small groups discussion. There are alternative daytime bible study groups. They all have good discussion to deal with real life issues.

 There are equip groups to wokr together on our skills in:

Answering the Big questions and Other Religions

Sword - get a grip on the whole bible

Leading a Bible Study

Camps

         GETAWAY (Canberra Day long weekend in March)

         Fighting Words camp (Oct long weekend)

Social Activities

There are regular social functions, sometimes with ANU and UC FOCUS, including a Ball, Fireworks night, BBQs etc.

Open Forum

 We have open forum discussions on hot topic - sometimes with a guest speaker. In the past we have had:

Who are we?

FOCUS is the Fellowship of Christian University Students and is part of the FOCUS network on the University campuses in Canberra.

FOCUS is affiliated with AFES (the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students) which connects student ministries across Australia.

Through AFES we are linked to IFES – the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.
